After a year-long reconstruction, the southern section of the emblematic Women’s Market in the Bulgarian capital has been opened to the public.

Adding to the zone's rehabilitation programme, the owners of adjacent buildings must renovate their façades or face fines with amounts going up to 10,000 BGN.
