Bomb threat at "Serdika" Shopping Centre
August 3rd, 2014.
Sofia, Bulgaria.
Employees and visitors of the “Serdika” Shopping Centre were evacuated due to a bomb threat. The building remained closed about three hours while the people in the outside where hardly informed of what was occurring. That lack of communication, the absence of civil protection elements and the fact that the area around the shopping centre was not evacuated allowed for the visitors to stay just behind the doors which confused people who were arriving into think that it might have been a publicity stunt for the last leg of the end-of-summer sales.
